Cookie Regulation

Cookie Policy

Last updated: 27 April 2026

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that websites save in the user's browser during navigation. They allow the site to remember the user's actions and preferences (such as the login session) so they don't have to be re-entered on each subsequent visit.

Verace uses exclusively technical cookies necessary for the operation of the service. We do not use profiling cookies or third-party advertising tracking systems.

2. Technical cookies (necessary)

Technical cookies are indispensable for the provision of the service. They do not require the user's consent under art. 122 of the Privacy Code (Legislative Decree 196/2003) and the Guidelines of the Data Protection Authority of 10 June 2021.

3. Analytics cookies

Analytics cookies help us understand how users interact with the site, collecting information in anonymous and aggregated form (e.g. pages visited, time spent, geographic origin). This data allows us to improve the browsing experience.

Current status: Verace does not currently use third-party analytics cookies (e.g. Google Analytics). Any future implementation will be subject to the user's prior consent via the preferences panel.

4. Marketing cookies

Marketing cookies are used to show relevant content and measure the effectiveness of commercial communications. They require the user's explicit consent.

Current status: Verace does not use marketing cookies, Facebook Pixel, Google Ads or similar systems. The category is present for transparency and for possible future use, always subject to prior consent.

5. Third-party cookies

Verace uses Google Tag Manager (GTM) as a container for the centralized management of third-party scripts. GTM is configured with Consent Mode v2: it does not load or activate any tracking tag until the user has given consent via the cookie banner. In the absence of consent, GTM operates in anonymous mode without installing profiling cookies. For more information: Google Privacy Policy.

Verace uses Google Fonts to load typographic fonts. The fonts are loaded locally (self-hosted), minimizing the transmission of data to Google servers.

We do not use tracking pixels, embedded social network widgets or other systems that could install third-party cookies without your consent.

6. How to manage and withdraw consent

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by clicking the button below. You can also disable cookies directly from your browser; please note that disabling technical cookies could compromise the proper functioning of the service (e.g. inability to maintain the login session).

Instructions for the main browsers:

7. Legal basis and data controller

The processing of data through technical cookies is based on the legitimate interest of the controller (art. 6.1.f GDPR) and on contractual necessity (art. 6.1.b GDPR). For cookies that require consent, the legal basis is art. 6.1.a GDPR.

Data controller: Verace — for information or to exercise your rights (access, rectification, erasure, portability) write to privacy@verace.io.

8. Updates to this policy

We reserve the right to update this Cookie Policy in case of technical, regulatory or service changes. Substantial changes will be communicated via a notice on the site. We invite you to consult this page periodically.
