How the protection
works
Grow and higher plans generate a unique QR for each lot or piece. Here's how the system works.
1. Activation at release
When you create a lot, each QR is "activated" with your location and the territory where you will sell (country, regions).
2. First scan = claim
The first customer who scans the QR "claims" that single piece. From that moment, the system observes all subsequent scans to understand whether it's the same bottle circulating (normal) or multiple copies in circulation (suspicious).
3. Continuous monitoring
The system evaluates various signals and alerts you by email when it detects anomalous patterns. The consumer never receives a "counterfeit" alert — this visibility is only for you, so the fraudster doesn't know they've been intercepted.
Verace is an additional protection layer. For regulated goods (DOCG, registered trademarks) the primary legal protection remains valid.
