Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (hereinafter "Terms") govern access to and use of the Verace platform, available at verace.io, provided by Verace S.r.l.

By using the service you fully accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, you may not use the platform.

Verace is a B2B SaaS platform that allows Italian food producers to:

• Register and manage product pages with information on supply chain, ingredients, nutrition and packaging
• Generate QR codes to apply to packaging
• Publish public pages accessible to consumers via QR scan
• Monitor scan and view statistics

To use the service you must create an account providing truthful and up-to-date information. You are responsible for the confidentiality of your access credentials and for all activities carried out through your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use by writing to supporto@verace.io.

Verace offers the following monthly subscription plans:

Payments are processed by Stripe. The subscription renews automatically every month. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal; access remains active until the end of the period already paid for.

You are solely responsible for the content (text, images, video) you upload to the platform. You declare that you hold the necessary rights and that the content does not violate applicable laws, third-party rights, nor contain offensive, illegal or misleading material.

Verace reserves the right to remove content that violates these Terms or that is deemed inappropriate following automatic or manual moderation, without obligation of prior notice.

The software, design, logos and content of Verace are the exclusive property of Verace S.r.l. and protected by copyright law. Reproduction, copying or distribution without explicit written authorization is not permitted.

You grant Verace a non-exclusive, free, worldwide license to display your content as part of the provision of the service (e.g. public consumer pages accessible via QR).

Verace does not guarantee the uninterrupted availability of the service and is not liable for data loss, lost profits or indirect damages arising from the use or inability to use the platform. Verace's maximum liability towards you is limited to the amount paid in the last 3 months of subscription.

We reserve the right to suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms, with prior notice by email except in cases of serious violations requiring immediate action. You can request the closure of your account at any time by writing to supporto@verace.io.

These Terms are governed by Italian law. For any dispute, the Court of Milan has exclusive jurisdiction, save for any different legal provision for consumers.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms with at least 30 days' notice by email. Changes do not apply retroactively to subscription periods already in progress.

Verace employs artificial intelligence systems in a limited and transparent manner, in compliance with EU Regulation 2024/1689 (AI Act), in particular Article 50 on transparency obligations.

Generated content. Generative AI (images and videos) is used exclusively for promotional or decorative content and never replaces real product photos or declared supply-chain data. Such content is labelled "Generated with AI" and marked with provenance information under the C2PA standard on the original asset, so that it remains recognizable as synthetic content.

Marking processing. The technical provenance marking (C2PA) of video content may be performed through a cloud processing service operating outside the European Union (United States), limited to the media file only and without any user personal data.

In-chat assistant. The assistant available in the dashboard is a conversational artificial intelligence system: its answers may contain inaccuracies and do not constitute legal or professional advice.

Provenance attestation. On request, you can obtain the provenance attestation (C2PA metadata) of the original content by writing to supporto@verace.io.
